As you all may know, October is Breast Cancer and Domestic Violence  Abuse Prevention Awareness Month. City Hall will be hosting a prayer  service for survivors on Friday, October 21, 2022 at 8am in front of  City Hall. T-shirts are being ordered. If you are interested, shirts are  long sleeved and are $10 each. You may also come by City Hall and sign  the name of a breast cancer or domestic violence survivor on a pink or  purple ribbon to be honored during the ceremony. The last day to order  shirts is October 14, 2022. Please contact Lee Melancon at 225.445.1383  to order your shirt of for more information.

The St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office has reported a recent DWI arrest involving Michael Dunn after an incident near Airline Highway and CC Road in Montz. Charges include driving while intoxicated and reckless operation.
