On Friday, Feb. 21, former St. Amant High School standouts Cole Poirrier and Wyatt Ford’s current college team, the Nicholls State Colonels, won 7-6 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Little Rock Trojans.
The game took place at Gary Hogan Field. This was their first matchup against the Trojans this season.
The Colonels’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 22 at 1 p.m. at Gary Hogan Field against Little Rock Trojans.
