On Friday, Feb. 28, former East Ascension High School standout Kael Babin’s current college team, the Omaha Mavericks, won 9-5 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Kansas Jayhawks.

The game took place at Hoglund Ballpark. This was their second matchup against the Jayhawks this season.

The Mavericks’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 2 p.m. at Equity Bank Park against Kansas Jayhawks.
