On Friday, Feb. 28, former St. Amant High School standout Jacob Mayers’ current college team, the LSU Tigers, won 8-5 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Kansas State Wildcats.

The game took place at Riders Field. This was their first matchup against the Wildcats this season.

The Tigers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 4 p.m. at Riders Field against Nebraska Cornhuskers.
