On Sunday, Feb. 16, former St. Amant High School standout Jacob Mayers’ current college team, the LSU Tigers, won 8-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Purdue Fort Wayne Mastodons.
The game took place at Skip Bertman Field @ Alex Box Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Mastodons this season.
The Tigers’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 18 at 2 p.m. at Skip Bertman Field @ Alex Box Stadium against Southern Jaguars.
