On Sunday, March 16, former Lutcher High School standouts Luke Babin and Noah Detillier’s current college team, the Nicholls State Colonels, lost 14-5 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the UTRGV Vaqueros.
The game took place at UTRGV Baseball Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Vaqueros this season.
The Colonels’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 21 at 6 p.m. at Ben Meyer Diamond at Ray E. Didier Field against Incarnate Word Cardinals.
