On Friday, March 21, former Ascension Christian High School standout Layla Thompson’s current college team, the Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks, lost 5-3 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns.

The game took place at Lamson Park. This was their first matchup against the Ragin’ Cajuns this season.

The Warhawks’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 22 at 2 p.m. at Lamson Park against Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns.
