On Tuesday, Feb. 18, former East Ascension High School standout Kael Babin’s current college team, the Omaha Mavericks, won 5-2 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Nicholls State Colonels.

The game took place at Ben Meyer Diamond at Ray E. Didier Field. This was their first matchup against the Colonels this season.

The Mavericks’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 21 at 4 p.m. at Skip Bertman Field @ Alex Box Stadium against LSU Tigers.
