On Wednesday, Feb. 26, former St. Amant High School standout Jacob Mayers’ current college team, the LSU Tigers, won 7-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Dallas Baptist Patriots.

The game took place at Globe Life Field. This was their first matchup against the Patriots this season.

The Tigers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 28 at 2 p.m. at Riders Field against Kansas State Wildcats.
