On Wednesday, March 5, former St. Amant High School standouts Cole Poirrier and Wyatt Ford’s current college team, the Nicholls State Colonels, lost 10-0 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs.
The game took place at J.C. Love Field at Pat Patterson Park. This was their second matchup against the Bulldogs this season.
The Colonels’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 7 at 6:30 p.m. at Ben Meyer Diamond at Ray E. Didier Field against Texas A&M Corpus Christi Islanders.
