St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office reports DWI arrests in early April

The St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office announced on April 8 that several individuals were arrested for driving while intoxicated and related offenses in the first week of April.

The announcement provides information about public safety enforcement and recent law enforcement actions regarding impaired driving in the community.

According to the release, John Romano, age 69, of Norco, was arrested on April 5 at his residence on Marino Street. He faces charges including driving while intoxicated (DWI), battery of a police officer, resisting an officer, and failure to yield when making a turn.

Chad Cadiere, age 50, from Houma, was arrested on April 3 at Highway 90 in Paradis. The charges include DWI, reckless operation with accident involvement, and possession of marijuana.

Jonathan McKnight, age 35, from Kenner was taken into custody on April 3 at River Road in Destrehan. His charges include DWI; possession of marijuana; sale or possession of a legend drug without a prescription or order (prohibited); speeding; and fugitive arrests.

Carey Bowser, age 56, from Laplace was arrested on April 4 at LA Highway 48 near Campus Drive in Destrehan for DWI.

These arrests reflect ongoing efforts by the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office to address impaired driving and related offenses within the parish.
