St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office reports arrests for domestic abuse and other charges

On February 20, 2026, the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office released information about several recent arrests.

In one incident on February 18, deputies responded to a disturbance in the 200 block of Beaupre Drive in Luling. According to the Sheriff’s Office, a juvenile reported that Christina Verrette, age 46, choked her during an argument. Verrette was arrested on charges of domestic abuse battery/strangulation and booked at the Nelson Coleman Correctional Center (NCCC).

Another arrest involved Richard Dennis Jr., age 36. The Sheriff’s Office stated that Dennis was transported from the Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office to NCCC due to an outstanding warrant related to an incident in Boutte on June 13, 2025. He faces charges including theft-shoplifting, simple criminal damage to property, and entering or remaining after being forbidden.

On February 19, deputies encountered Jayden Mayeur, age 17, during a warrant check at 218 Dianne Drive in St. Rose. Mayeur was taken into custody for misdemeanor carnal knowledge of a juvenile stemming from an earlier incident in St. Rose and booked at NCCC.

Also on February 19, Nicholas Licciardi Jr., age 56, was arrested following a disturbance at his residence on Longview Drive in Destrehan. Deputies reported that a female said Licciardi hit her during an argument. He was charged with domestic abuse battery resulting in minor injury and as a fugitive arrest before being booked at NCCC.

The Sheriff’s Office encourages anyone with information about these incidents to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-877-903-STOP. Callers may remain anonymous and could be eligible for rewards up to $2,500.
