From August 22-25, additional small business programs will be offered throughout the week virtually and are also free. These workshops include Insurance 101, Starting a Small Business, Getting Certified for Louisiana Economic Development Small Business Resources, and a unique workshop on how to start a non profit organization. On Saturday, August 27, the Superwoman’s Conference will take place face to face in Prairieville at PARC 73. The event beings at 8:00am for registration with the first workshop starting at 8:30am. This program is specifically designed for businesses, especially women-owned businesses who are in the construction industry or want to do business with the state and other contractor programs.
