There were 521 white students enrolled in St. John the Baptist Parish School District schools in the 2021-22 school year, 20.1% less than the previous year, according to the Louisiana Department of Education.

Data showed that St. John the Baptist Parish School District welcomed 4,931 students during the 2021-22 school year. Among them, white students comprised 10.6% of the student body to be the third most represented ethnicity in the district.

St. John the Baptist Parish School District roughly covers schools within St. John the Baptist Parish and has a main office in Reserve.

Among the 12 schools in St. John the Baptist Parish School District, John L. Ory Communications Magnet Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of white students in the 2021-22 school year, with a total of 151 students.

The majority of Louisiana students were identified as white and Black, representing 48% and 37% of the state student body respectively during the 2021–22 academic year. Hispanic students made up 8.6% of the student body, and other ethnic minorities made up 5.6%.

In 2022, there was roughly one teacher for every 18 students, compared to the national average of 1:16.
