On Wednesday, April 2, former East Ascension High School standout Kael Babin’s current college team, the Omaha Mavericks, won 11-9 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Nebraska Cornhuskers.
The game took place at Tal Anderson Field. This was their first matchup against the Cornhuskers this season.
The Mavericks’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 4 at 4 p.m. at Tal Anderson Field against North Dakota State Bison.
