Reported prices for diesel gas in Ascension Parish averaged $3.13 per gallon.
Among 76 gas stations in cities within Ascension Parish, 24 offered diesel gas.
For comparison, the average price of diesel gas in Louisiana was $3.16 per gallon for the week ending Feb. 21, up from the previous week.
